No one likes to lose customers, but when we do, we’ve got to make an effort to do what we can to bring them back. Bringing them back isn’t just important to the bottom line, it’s important to learn why they left in the first place so we can adjust our business and/or marketing strategy to keep other customers from leaving for the same reasons. With a simple, but effective letter offering a $50 rebate, we helped a local Harley-Davidson dealer gain valuable insight into why some customer left. The campaign also helped bring a number of customers back.
