When Westminster Savings approached us to assist with their referral program, we developed a simple, but effective rewards-based approach. Existing customers were given the opportunity to receive a $100 reward simply by passing on a referral card. Referral cards were mailed on behalf of the manager of the customer’s home branch and imprinted with the existing customer’s name on a durable polyester paper that would last months in a purse or wallet. The response began almost immediately after the offer was mailed and Westminster Savings saw a significant number of referrals come in through their doors.
